On the road!

The day has come.

I’ve packed up and cleaned my rental accomodation, filled three bike panniers with all I will have with me for the next months, and rolled out of Melbourne.

A big ride today. All the way to (just north of) Adelaide. Left at 9am, and have just now set up camp at 9:20pm. Woosh.

I’ve landed in a national park campground. Really really pretty place. And to hail the start of this crazy adventure is the reddest fullest blood moon I have ever seen. Photos don’t do justice but I’ll include one here just so you know I’m not completely making it up.

I need to – and will – share more soon, but I’m wrecked and need to settle in for the night.

Catch ya in the next instalment!
